Sales Tax

8.0% sales tax is added to California orders. No sales tax is charged to orders shipped outside California. 

Shipping

Auterra ships United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail inside the United States. USPS Priority Mail will ship to an APO/FPO and PO box addresses. 

International orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS) using Priority Mail International. For International shipments, we do not pay customs, duties, or brokerage fees, if any, that your country charges.

All U.S. and International shipping methods provide a tracking number. 

Freight and/or shipping and handling both ways are non refundable. 

Warranty

Auterra will repair this product with new or rebuilt parts, free of charge, for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. A dated receipt or Auterra order number is required for warranty repairs. Auterra's sole liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the product while under warranty. Damage caused by misuse or modification is not covered. See the warranty documentation included with your product for detailed information. 

Software Update Policy

Updates are free on all scan tools including DashDyno SPD, Dyno-Scan for Windows and Dyno-Scan for Palm packages. Software updates are available on the Downloads page. 

Enhanced OBD II packages have free updates until the major version number changes. For instance, if you purchase an enhanced OBD II package 1.0, you'll get free upgrades until version 2.0. If you purchase an enhanced software package and within 90-days and a new major version is released, you'll receive a free upgrade to the new release.

Returns

Auterra offers a 30-day unconditional money back guarantee on most products. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return it for a full refund less shipping charges. If your product received free shipping, a $10 restocking fee is charged. The 30-day money back guarantee only applies to products purchased directly from Auterra. 

Software-only products do not qualify for the money back guarantee. Enhanced OBD II software purchases cannot be returned.

The complete product must be undamaged and contain all original packing, supplied materials, and the original receipt or packing slip. No refunds after 30-days. The product must arrive at Auterra within 30-days of the purchase date. Email Auterra for a Return Material Authorization number (RMA) before returning. Returns received without an RMA number will be refused.

Support

Technical support is offered on our products via email or phone. Technical support usually responds to e-mail within 24-hours. Please note technical support cannot assist you in diagnosing and repairing your vehicle. Support is limited to operation of the Auterra products only.

When contacting technical support please provide the following information:

  • Auterra product used (e.g. DashDyno SPD)
  • Year of Vehicle (e.g. 1997)
  • Make (e.g. Chevrolet)
  • Model (e.g. K1500 Pickup Extended Cab)
  • Problem encountered, be specific as possible including error messages. 
  • Version of software (located on the About menu)
  • Version of the hardware (located on the About Hardware menu)

Terms of Use

The Software that Auterra, LLC provides to you are subject to the following Terms of Use ("TOU"). Auterra, LLC reserves the right to update the TOU at any time without notice to you.

This TOU applies to freeware and/or evaluation software made available on our website.

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software is with you. Should the Software prove defective, you assume the cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction.

The Software contains proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. You will not modify or sell works based on the Software.

The Software is for your personal use. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use the demonstration software object code version of the Software on a single Windows PC or Palm handheld computer; provided that you do not (and do not allow any third party to) copy, modify, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, assign or otherwise transfer any right in the Software; and you will not modify the Software by any means.
